Welcome to the Gen Z Bihar Community
genZbihar.com is your space to speak about Bihar, your experiences, your ideas and the future you want to see.
We believe that Bihar’s Gen Z should have a place where young people can speak openly, question what exists, share what they experience and celebrate what makes Bihar special.
You don’t have to agree with everyone here.
You don’t have to share the same political views, district, language, background or perspective.
But you do have to respect the people behind those opinions.
These Community Guidelines explain the kind of community we want to build together.
1. Our Community Values
At genZbihar.com, we want to build a community that is:
🗣️ Vocal
Have an opinion. Ask questions. Challenge the status quo. Talk about the issues that matter to you.
🤝 Respectful
Disagree with ideas without attacking the person behind them.
🔍 Honest
Share what you know. Be clear when something is your opinion, personal experience, interpretation or unverified information.
🌱 Constructive
Don’t just point out problems. Where possible, discuss ideas, solutions and possibilities.
🧡 Inclusive
Bihar belongs to all of us.
People from every district, community, language, gender, background and social or economic group should be able to participate without being targeted or excluded.
🚀 Aspirational
We want genZbihar.com to be a place where people talk not only about what is wrong with Bihar, but also about what Bihar can become.
2. Speak Your Mind
You are encouraged to express your views on subjects that matter to you.
You can talk about:
- Education
- Examinations
- Employment
- Migration
- Startups
- Politics
- Governance
- Infrastructure
- Technology
- Culture
- Sports
- Entertainment
- Mental health
- Society
- Gender
- Your district
- Your college
- Your workplace
- Your community
- Bihari identity
- Your personal experiences
- Your ideas for Bihar
You are allowed to disagree.
You may strongly criticize a policy, institution, political party, public decision or social practice.
The important distinction is:
Challenge the idea. Don’t abuse the person.
3. Debate, Don’t Attack
Healthy disagreement is welcome.
Personal attacks are not.
Good:
“I disagree with this policy because I think it will hurt students in rural Bihar.”
Not acceptable:
“Anyone who supports this policy is an idiot.”
You can challenge someone’s argument.
You should not use the discussion as an excuse to humiliate, threaten or abuse another member.
4. No Hate or Discrimination
genZbihar.com is for all of Bihar’s youth.
Do not attack, demean, threaten or encourage discrimination against individuals or groups based on characteristics such as:
- Caste
- Religion
- Gender
- Sex
- Sexual orientation
- Disability
- Language
- Region
- Ethnicity
- Community
- Socio-economic background
- Other protected or sensitive characteristics
Bihar has a complex social history.
Conversations about caste, religion, politics, social inequality and discrimination are allowed.
Hateful attacks on people or communities are not.
Discuss the issue.
Don’t dehumanize the people involved.
5. No Harassment or Bullying
Do not use genZbihar.com to repeatedly target, intimidate, threaten or humiliate another person.
This includes:
- Persistent personal attacks
- Targeted insults
- Threats
- Stalking
- Intimidation
- Coordinated harassment
- Encouraging others to attack someone
- Repeated unwanted targeting
- Publishing someone’s personal information to encourage harassment
A disagreement does not give anyone permission to harass another member.
6. Protect People’s Privacy
Do not expose another person’s private information.
Never publish someone’s personal information with the intention of embarrassing, threatening or harming them.
This includes:
- Phone numbers
- Home addresses
- Private email addresses
- Passwords
- Financial information
- Government identification numbers
- Private messages
- Private photographs
- Confidential documents
- Other sensitive personal information
Do not publish private conversations or screenshots containing personal information without appropriate permission.
Think before you post:
Would I be comfortable if someone published this information about me?
If the answer is no, don’t publish it about someone else.
7. Be Careful With Allegations
genZbihar.com encourages people to speak about problems they experience.
However, there is an important difference between sharing an experience and making an unverified accusation against a person.
If you are discussing an alleged incident:
- Clearly distinguish facts from opinions.
- Explain what you personally experienced where relevant.
- Avoid presenting rumours as established facts.
- Avoid making serious allegations without a reasonable basis.
- Do not encourage harassment of the person involved.
- Do not publish someone’s private information.
For serious allegations involving identifiable individuals, organisations or institutions, Gen Z Bihar may request additional information or context before publication.
We may remove or restrict content where necessary to protect individuals or comply with applicable law.
8. Don’t Spread Rumours as Facts
We understand that information can travel quickly online.
A screenshot, WhatsApp message, Instagram post or forwarded message does not automatically make something true.
Before posting important information, consider:
Do I know this is true?
Where did this information come from?
Can I verify it?
Am I clearly identifying this as an opinion or unverified claim?
If you are unsure, use language such as:
“I have not independently verified this.”
or
“This is what I have heard, but I cannot confirm it.”
Knowingly creating or spreading fabricated information may result in content removal or account action, particularly where it could cause significant harm.
9. Politics Is Welcome. Political Abuse Is Not.
Politics is an important part of public life.
genZbihar.com does not prohibit political opinions simply because they are controversial or unpopular.
You may:
- Support a political party
- Criticize a political party
- Discuss government policies
- Discuss elections
- Debate political ideas
- Discuss politicians and public figures
- Discuss governance
- Share your political perspective
But political discussion must still follow these Community Guidelines.
Do not use politics as an excuse for:
- Hate speech
- Threats
- Harassment
- Personal abuse
- False impersonation
- Doxxing
- Coordinated attacks
- Spam
- Unlawful activity
Political disagreement is healthy. Political abuse is not.
10. Celebrate Bihar
genZbihar.com isn’t only about problems.
We want to hear about:
- Bihari entrepreneurs
- Students doing remarkable work
- Local creators
- Artists
- Athletes
- Startups
- Businesses
- Social initiatives
- Local innovations
- Cultural traditions
- Food
- Music
- Literature
- District-level achievements
- Stories of young people creating change
If something makes you proud to be from Bihar, raise your voice about it.
11. Your District. Your Story.
We want genZbihar.com to represent all 38 districts of Bihar.
If you post about your district, town, college, village or local community:
- Be specific where appropriate.
- Share useful context.
- Avoid publishing someone’s private information.
- Don’t deliberately misrepresent a community or location.
- Don’t turn district pride into hatred toward another district.
Healthy local pride is welcome.
District rivalry is fine. District hatred is not.
12. Use Images Responsibly
Images can tell powerful stories.
If you upload an image:
- Make sure you have the right to use it.
- Avoid posting private photographs without permission.
- Avoid publishing sensitive personal information.
- Avoid humiliating or exploitative images.
- Don’t manipulate images in a deceptive way.
- Don’t use someone else’s photograph to falsely represent yourself or an event.
If an image contains identifiable people, consider whether publishing it could reasonably cause harm or violate their privacy.
13. Respect Copyright
Don’t copy someone else’s work and present it as your own.
This includes:
- Articles
- Photographs
- Artwork
- Videos
- Illustrations
- Designs
- Music
- Written material
If you’re sharing someone else’s work, use it only where you have the appropriate rights or permission.
Where appropriate, give credit to the original creator.
Repeated copyright violations may result in account restrictions or termination.
14. No Spam
genZbihar.com is a community, not a dumping ground for advertisements.
Do not:
- Post the same content repeatedly.
- Flood discussions with promotional messages.
- Publish irrelevant links.
- Create posts solely to promote a product or service.
- Manipulate engagement.
- Use automated accounts to generate activity.
- Repeatedly promote your social-media accounts.
- Use misleading clickbait to generate traffic.
If you have something genuinely valuable to share, contribute it to the conversation.
15. No Scams or Fraud
Do not use genZbihar.com to deceive people.
This includes:
- Fake investment opportunities
- Financial scams
- Phishing
- Fake jobs
- Fake educational programmes
- Fraudulent fundraising
- Fake giveaways
- Impersonation scams
- Requests for passwords or OTPs
- Other deceptive schemes
Be especially careful when someone asks you to send:
- Money
- OTPs
- Passwords
- Bank details
- Card information
- Identity documents
Gen Z Bihar will never ask you to share your account password or OTP through an unsolicited message.
16. No Malicious or Dangerous Content
Do not upload or distribute:
- Malware
- Viruses
- Malicious code
- Phishing links
- Credential-stealing tools
- Files designed to damage another person’s device
- Content intended to compromise the security of genZbihar.com
Do not attempt to hack, disrupt or interfere with the Website.
17. No Sexual Exploitation or Abuse
genZbihar.com does not permit content involving:
- Sexual exploitation
- Sexual abuse
- Sexual exploitation of minors
- Non-consensual intimate material
- Sexual threats
- Sexual harassment
- Sexualized exploitation of another person
Any content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors is strictly prohibited.
Such matters may also be reported to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.
18. No Dangerous or Illegal Activity
Do not use genZbihar.com to facilitate or encourage serious unlawful activity.
This includes using the platform to:
- Plan criminal activity
- Threaten violence
- Facilitate fraud
- Recruit people for unlawful activity
- Distribute malicious material
- Facilitate serious harm to others
Discussions about social problems, crime, law and public safety are allowed.
The distinction is between discussing an issue and using the platform to facilitate wrongdoing.
19. Mental Health and Sensitive Topics
We want genZbihar.com to be a place where young people can talk about difficult experiences.
You may discuss:
- Stress
- Academic pressure
- Career uncertainty
- Loneliness
- Family pressure
- Migration
- Failure
- Burnout
- Other difficult experiences
Please avoid mocking, humiliating or attacking people who discuss personal struggles.
If a post involves immediate danger or serious risk of harm, Gen Z Bihar may take additional steps to protect the people involved, including restricting content or contacting appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
20. Don’t Pretend to Be Someone Else
Do not create an account or profile designed to impersonate:
- Another user
- A public figure
- A government official
- A government organisation
- A company
- Gen Z Bihar
- Another organisation or institution
Parody or clearly fictional accounts may be treated differently where they are not deceptive and do not cause harm.
21. Don’t Manipulate the Community
Don’t artificially manipulate the popularity of content.
This includes:
- Fake accounts
- Bots
- Fake engagement
- Coordinated spam
- Manipulated voting or reactions
- Repeatedly reposting content to dominate discussions
- Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions
We want the voices on genZbihar.com to represent real people and genuine participation.
22. Commercial Promotion
You may eventually see opportunities for creators, organisations, businesses and community initiatives to participate on genZbihar.com.
However, ordinary users should not use the platform for unsolicited commercial promotion.
If Gen Z Bihar introduces specific advertising, sponsorship or promotional programmes, those activities may be governed by separate rules.
23. Be Responsible With AI-Generated Content
AI can be a useful creative tool.
If you use AI to create or substantially alter content, you should not use it to deceive, impersonate or harm another person.
Do not use AI to create:
- Fake evidence
- Fake statements attributed to real people
- Deceptive impersonations
- Manipulated images intended to cause harm
- Fabricated news presented as genuine
- Fraudulent documents
Gen Z Bihar may require disclosure or restrict certain AI-generated or manipulated content where necessary to prevent deception or harm.
24. Don’t Abuse the Reporting System
The reporting system exists to protect the community.
Do not:
- Submit knowingly false reports.
- Mass-report someone simply because you disagree with them.
- Use reports to silence legitimate opinions.
- Coordinate false reports against another member.
A report should be based on a genuine concern about a possible policy violation.
25. If You Make a Mistake, Correct It
Nobody gets everything right.
If you discover that something you posted was incorrect:
Own it. Correct it.
Where appropriate, edit your post or add a correction.
We believe that acknowledging a mistake is better than pretending it never happened.
26. We Welcome Criticism of Gen Z Bihar
You are allowed to criticize:
- Gen Z Bihar
- genZbihar.com
- Our policies
- Our decisions
- Our moderation
- Our features
- Our content
Respectful criticism is welcome.

27. What Happens When Guidelines Are Violated?
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the violation, Gen Z Bihar may take one or more actions.

1. Education or Warning
For minor or first-time violations, we may explain the issue and ask you to correct the behaviour.

We may limit the visibility or functionality of certain content.
4. Temporary Restrictions
We may temporarily restrict your ability to:
- Post

6. Account Termination
Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.
7. Legal or Emergency Action
Where required or appropriate, serious matters may be referred to relevant authorities or handled in accordance with applicable law.
28. We Consider Context
Not every violation looks the same.
When reviewing content or behaviour, Gen Z Bihar may consider factors such as:
- What was said
- How it was said
- The context
- Whether it was satire or parody
- Whether it was an opinion or factual claim
- Whether someone was targeted
- Whether there was a credible risk of harm
- Whether the user has repeatedly violated the guidelines
- Whether the content is part of a legitimate public-interest discussion
Context does not automatically excuse harmful content, but it can be relevant to moderation decisions.
29. We May Take Immediate Action
In serious situations, Gen Z Bihar may take action without first issuing a warning.
This may happen where content or behaviour involves:
- Credible threats
- Serious harassment
- Sexual exploitation

Our priority in such cases is the safety and integrity of the community.
30. Appeals and Review
If you believe that your content was removed or your account was restricted by mistake, you may contact Gen Z Bihar and request a review.
Your request should include:
- Your username
- The relevant post or content, if available
- The action taken
- Why you believe the decision was incorrect
- Any relevant information or context
We will review appeals in accordance with our available moderation process.
Not every appeal will result in the original decision being reversed.
31. A Simple Rule for Every Post
Before you click Publish, ask yourself:
Is it true?
Is it mine to share?
Could it unnecessarily harm someone?
Am I attacking an idea or a person?
Would I be comfortable saying this publicly?
Does it add something valuable to the conversation?
If the answer is yes — Raise Your Voice.
32. The Gen Z Bihar Standard
We don’t want genZbihar.com to become another comment section full of abuse, outrage and noise.
We want it to become something different.
A place where a student from Gaya can talk about their college.
A young person from Darbhanga can share an idea.
A creator from Muzaffarpur can showcase their work.
An aspirant in Patna can talk about exam pressure.
A Bihari working in Bengaluru can share their experience of migration.
A young entrepreneur can talk about building something in Bihar.
A person from any of Bihar’s 38 districts can say:
“This is what I see. This is what I think. This is what I want Bihar to become.”
And others can listen, question, disagree, contribute and build on it.
Speak freely. Think critically. Respect people.
Your Voice. Your Images. Your Bihar.
